Plot: A couple of friends backpacking across Europe are lured to an Slovakian town with promises of sexual conquest only to find they've entered a playground for those with a morose taste for blood. An engaging concept is rendered insufferable by the relentless gauntlet of puerile dialogue, hateful characters, and unbearable frat boy humor you have to sit through to get to it. Whatever traces of dark comedy or cleverness that are in this steamer are savaged by the tortuous and ludicrous nonsense the viewer is put through. The terrifying situations that pay off this whole setup, though uncomfortable, ultimately are not enough to justify the putrid script.
