Plot: Three college students head to a neighboring city in search of exotic entertainment but instead find themselves in an increasingly strange series of events involving albino punks, strippers, and vampires.
With its colorful lighting, tropey leads, physical effects, and campy, tongue-in-cheek humor, "Vamp" has a lot of the charm that seems almost exclusive to 80's horror comedies even if it falls quite a bit short from being a classic. The "one helluva night" simplicity of the plot is fun until it begins to feel stretched thin in a bid to fill time. Still, it's not a total waste of time and plenty of weirdness and quirky charm abounds in a movie that feels like a lesser predecessor to "From Dusk Till Dawn".
